The Guarnaccia grape is a minor variety of grape coming from the Calabria region, where it is grown very little, except in the province of Cosenza. Its origins are very uncertain, it seems to have come from Sicily.
Guarnaccia has white berries of medium size and spherical shape. The skin is very waxy, ranging in color from green-white to yellow-amber thick. Its bunch is medium, conical, elongated, medium compact with a medium, pentagonal leaf.
The white Guarnaccia grape has good vigor, medium ripening time that ensures a smooth production.
The white grape variety Guarnaccia gives a pale yellow wine with low acidity and a mild flavor. It is mostly used in blends with other local varieties, both white and red.
Currently, we do not stock any wine, please come back later, we constantly add new wines.
